After providing further funding for the Youth Tutoring Programs throughout the city, Tom was able to visit the Jackson Park Youth Tutoring Center. He met with students, parents, tutors, and Education Coordinator Danielle Gahl, to learn of the good work being done in this North-East Seattle study-spot.

 

Tom was greeted with a Welcome-sign created by the students, and was inspired by the community mobilization in the center, and one-on-one attention the students received.
